Incident Management System - Hospital Codes

• The following codes have been designated through the Hospital's Incident Management system to clearly communicate to all staff, patients, and visitors that an emergency situation is imminent or taking place. Please click below to learn more about the emergency plan for each code.

• Code Amber - Missing/Abducted Child
• Code Black - Bomb Threat/Suspicious Object
• Code Blue - Cardiac Arrest/Medical Emergency
• Code Brown - Hazard Spill
• Code Green - Evacuation
• Code Grey - Infrastructure Loss/Failure
• Code Orange - Disaster
• Code Pink - Cardiac Arrest/Medical Emergency - Child
• Code Purple - Hostage Taking
• Code Red - Fire
• Code Silver - Person with a Weapon
• Code White - Violent/Behavioural Situation
• Code Yellow - Missing Person
